Practical skills. Patient teaching. Learning at your pace.

Learning doesn’t stop when we leave school. 🌿

At The Learning Nest, Adult Learning classes are designed to help adults develop useful, practical skills for everyday life, work and personal confidence.

Whether you’re learning to use a computer for the first time, wanting to improve your Microsoft Office skills, returning to work or study, or simply tired of asking someone else to help every time technology gets confusing, you are welcome to learn at your own pace.

There is no need to feel embarrassed about what you don’t know.

My Adult Learning classes are patient, supportive and practical, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions, practise what you are learning and go over something again when needed.

Beginners are very welcome.

Learn Without the Pressure

Sometimes adults avoid classes because they’re worried everyone else will know more than they do.

That’s not what Adult Learning at The Learning Nest is about.

You don’t need to know the technical words.

You don’t need to keep up with someone else.

And you don’t need to pretend you understand something when you don’t.

Questions are welcome.

If something needs explaining again, we can go through it again.

The goal is understanding and confidence — not rushing through a lesson.
